What if church leaders and parents synchronized their efforts to fuel wonder, discovery and passion in the next generation?

As children we were in constant wonder—the dazzle of life provoking us toward discovery. And as we turned over rocks and stared at the stars, we found something surprising. We found a light glimmering in our hearts. The light of passion.

Orange is a path, a strategy with the intent to return to that glimmering, that passion, and to rouse it in the next generation. You can find the Orange Strategy in the color: combining the strength of two—red and yellow—for the brilliance of another, Orange.

Kids Ministry @ Grace

So, an Orange thinker asks, “What if church leaders and parents synchronized their efforts to fuel wonder, discovery and passion in the next generation?” By combining the critical influences of the light of the church (yellow) and the love of the family (red) the Orange Strategy shows a generation who God is more effectively than either could alone.

By combining the critical influences of the light of the church (yellow) and the love of the family (red) the Orange Strategy shows a generation who God is more effectively than either could alone

Orange draws on the elements of wonder, discovery and passion, infusing them into children, students and young adults. Why? To see God for who he is, to help young people see themselves the way God sees them, so that they can love others the way God does.

Registration, Policies, & Volunteering

Registration

Each family is assigned a number and tags that correspond to that number. Parents put one tag on each child, and keep one for themselves. If parents are needed during the service for any reason, your family number will flash on the screen in the front of the sanctuary. You will show your tag when you pick up your children.

If you are new and need to be assigned a number, visit the church vestibule (located at the main entrance to the church on the left hand side) where the tags are located and someone will help you sign up.

Policies

  • Parents are not allowed inside the classrooms for security reasons. Greeters or Ushers will be by the door to assist in receiving in and checking out.
  • Children below 12 may not enter or leave the Sunday School unescorted. Children are not allowed to go to the restroom alone. Parents must be attentive to the number display to ensure they are available when called upon.
  • All children, with no exceptions, must have a number tag on that is clearly visible at all times.
  • All children will graduate to the higher class based on grade and not according to age.
  • Teachers will reinforce memory work in the classroom but primary learning is at home.
  • In extreme weather conditions, check the Church website for cancellations or delays.

Volunteering
